76th Anniversary Season of The Lost Colony

June 1 - August 23
Held at Waterside Theatre on Roanoke Island, The Lost Colony is the nation’s longest running symphonic drama.  Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Paul Green’s The Lost Colony recounts the historical events leading to the disappearance of the first English colonists who settled on Roanoke Island over 400 years ago. Come see live theatre under the stars performed by a professional company of more than 100 actors, dancers, singers and technicians. From epic battles and Indian dances to the pageantry of the Queen and her court, The Lost Colony educates, enriches and entertains! Inquire about weekend performances and special rates. Children 12 and under free on Monday nights when accompanied by a paying adult. Show is held Monday - Saturday, 8:30pm with backstage tours starting at 7:30pm. Duck's Singer Songwriter Series

This popular evening concert series features some of the area’s best known musical acts. Bands entertain concert-goers on the Duck Town Green Thursday evenings from June 27 through August 8, beginning at 6:30pm (There will not be a show on Thursday, July 4).

Duck's Family Magic Show

Witness incredible illusions, mind-bending magic, comedy, and audience participation that the entire family will love – live on stage by OBXtreme Magic. 6th Annual Watermelon Festival

Beach Klub’s Concert Series

Koru Village’s Beach Klub will be open for its second season on May 20 with a full summer schedule.  The venue will bring a variety of genres to Cape Hatteras.  The PapaWack Theatre is North Carolina’s only oceanfront theatre of its kind.

30th Annual Pirate’s Cove Billfish Tournament

New World Festival of the Arts

EVP Beach Volleyball Tour

WRV Outer Banks Pro Presented by Hurley
August 29 - September 2
Hosted by Wave Riding Vehicles (WRV), the WRV Outer Banks Pro is one of the largest surfing contests in the region and has a total purse of $30,000 in prize money. The competition is located at Jennette's Pier and is free to public spectators. facebook.com/OuterBanksPro
