The Oregon Inlet Fishing Center is the home of the largest and most modern fishing fleet on the eastern seaboard. Pirates Cove Marina Located at the foot of the Washington Baum Bridge, Pirates Cove is a full service marina with 19 boats available for Gulf Stream charter. Four boats accommodate near shore fishing trips, and one boat is for Inlet only, four people maximum. All other boats are based on a maximum of six people. |

Avalon Fishing Pier The "newest" of the northern beach piers, the Avalon Fishing Pier was built in 1958 and stretches 696 feet. Bait and rod rentals are available at the pier, which is open from 5:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m. during the summer, from 6:00a.m. until around 10:00 p.m. in the spring and fall. Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for children under 12. |

Nags Head Fishing Pier The granddaddy of Outer Banks fishing piers, the Nags Head Fishing Pier is one of the oldest and longest around. The Nags Head Pier Restaurant will cook your catch for you, or you can select from their wide menu of seafood dinners and hearty fishermen’s breakfasts. |
