"I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed staying in your condo last summer. It topped all the trips since we have been doing the small condo thing in recent years. This year I decided that we needed and elevator (my husband is 83, I am 72 and the flights up the stairs is just too much). We like an upper level with a good view of the ocean (I spend most of my condo time on the deck or where I can see the water).
I am a realtor in the Richmond area and have leraned the value of photos when selling a home. That developed into my search for a condo at the beach each summer. I want to see the water clearly, be right on the ocean and I want the master bedroom open to the waterfront. The photos of your place jumped out at me immediately! What fun decor! Loved it! When we got there all I could say was 'you wont believe this place!' as my husband was doing the luggage thing. The colors make you happy the entire time you are there. He agreed but his big thrill was the parking arrangement and access to the elevator.
We plan to return this year and look forward to another wonderful week at the OBX!"

"This is the second year I've rented from Seaside Vacations and now it's the only rental company I use because of the amazing customer service. Seaside accommodated my group with an early check-in as well as sent a serviceman out extremely quickly when my group and I called with that need. They manage a wide variety of great homes, Dolphin Dance in particular. I'ts spacious, packed with amenities and sits in a great location in a cu-lde-sac with a very short walk to the beach. I was there with a large group, but for me personall,y I'd have to say the hot tub, the 3 refrigerators and the master suite were my favorite things about Dolphin Dance."

"Check in was very easy due to having keyless entry. [We] had to call the office once and received very prompt service. The home is everything you see in the promo...and more. The views are fantastic and the ocean's beautiful sound will lull you to a peaceful state of mind (even with the children and grandchildren with you). The home is large enough for all to have their own space. The home is fully stocked with everything (even a meat thermometer, as I'd forgotten one). The kitchen is very people friendly (with plenty of room for more than one chief).The kids loved the hot tub, which was also large enough for all of them. I really enjoyed the time spent with the family...this home really is a home away from home with the ocean as an added bonus. We will be returning. I'd recommend this home to everyone who needs some time away from reality. (Isn't that what vacations are all about?) Thanks again for opening up your home to us..fantastic."

"We spent our 9th week last summer in this unit, #301 at the Dune Lantern condos, and have signed up for next summer. As my husband, who has a stressful job, puts it, this is the most relaxing vacation he's ever taken and that includes cruises and other destinations.
The location is perfect, right on the ocean, and on the third floor, where the dunes don't get in the way of the view. Even though the public beach access is next to the condos, the beach was never crowded, and there is a lifeguard station right there. We love to spend hours on the balcony, enjoying the view and listening to the ocean. There are sliding glass doors from the balcony into the living room and the master bedroom.
The condo is very well laid out, with two living areas, divided by the kitchen/dining area. This is very convenient if there are people who want to watch TV, while others prefer a quiet area to read. We love the beautiful furnishings which are both attractive and comfortable. Rental units are not always this comfortable. We have said that we feel like welcome guests in someone's home. The owners have provided a fully functional kitchen, with everything anyone could need.
I would heartily recommend this condo unit to anyone looking for a perfect, relaxing vacation at the beach."

"I first rented Dolphin's Watch for a week in October 2002 and fell in love with the house. Subsequently Dolphin's Watch has been 'my house' for 2 weeks in October since 2004. A variety of friends and relatives have visited there and most have loved the house for its location, features and general level of comfort. It is obvious that the owners have a similar attachment to the house from the way it is maintained and updated. Dolphin's Watch is my safe place--where I am most relaxed and happy. Seaside does a great job of managing the property. Everyone I have ever encountered has been very friendly and responsive. Most service requests are handled immediately. I have already reserved my time for 2012."

"We vacationed the week of September 4th through the 11th and rented a condo through Seaside. I've used two other realty companies in the OBX and have no major complaints, but Seaside was the best so far. Here's the high points:
- Rental agreement sent and signed via email. No paper at all.
- No credit card fee!!!!! And they took Discover Card.
- No fee for linens. Beds were made and didn't feel like I was sleeping on prison sheets.
- Easy check-in and check-out (via phone).
- Every person I talked to was super nice.
I know people will say the fees were built into the base price, but I'm not buying it. Other comparable condo's though other agencies were $100-$200 more for the same week.
All in all a great week. Sun, sand, good food, and nice people. What more can you ask for?"

"We have stayed in many houses in the Outer Banks with various property managers and Seaside Vacations is first class! From the day I called in October to inquire, to the day I reserved for next year I knew that building lasting relationships and not just 'customer service' was a priority! The house...wow!! It was perfect in every way. We had five very stressed families who take one vacation a year (if that) meet up at Summertime and boy, we were more than able to 'leave our troubles at the bridge.' We escaped into a magical world of beautiful ocean views, scenery, comfort and convenience - the perfect recipe for relaxation. Our stay was cut short by two days so I definitely recommend buying travel insurance, but we took over 2000 pictures and every time we look back at them we can't help but smile. The whole group is looking forward to returning to Summertime together again next year. The decor is fun and interesting. This is the first home that we stayed in where we could tell that it was built/decorated from the heart and not just thrown together as a rental. Thank you to the owners of Summertime as well as everyone at Seaside Vacations for a dreamy vacation to remember!"

"Should have written before to tell you what a wonderful time we had and how much we loved the house. I wish you had been there when we arrived to hear the excited cries of the little ones. I don't think they knew we would have a pool, and it was a BIG success. The adults appreciated everything being so clean and fresh. There was ample room and we loved the large sitting and dining rooms on the top floor with a lovely view of the ocean.
Now we are all back in our respective homes and countries, but we have wonderful memories!!! We'll be happy to recommend.

"We took advantage of the Portrait Party with Brooke Mayo. Carrie photographed our grandchildren (as a gift for our daughter for Mother's Day), and for two young people (13 and 11) who HATE getting their pics make, they had a GREAT time! Carrie was WONDERFUL. I cant wait to see the pictures. I wanted to take advantage of more of the Club Seaside events, but most of the did not start until after Memorial Day. Hopefully we can come back during the summer and enjoy more!

"In 20+ years of vacationing in Duck, Kitty Hawk & Kill Devil Hills, I've dealt with several bad, many average, and only 2 really good rental companies--Seaside is the tops. All of our dealings have been wonderful. Staff have always been courteous and helpful...from the vacation planners to the cleaning crew to the maintenance man.
It's obvious the Langman's strive to keep their property updated and appealing. In fact, they are so concerned that you have a great vacation that their phone number is posted in the unit so that you call them directly if needed. Oh and don't let me forget to mention the "welcome" bag of items from the owners--super touch! Great owner, great experience; so good that we placed our 2011 reservation a week before we left this year!"

"My husband and I rent a different house every year in the Outer Banks for our family and friends to enjoy for a week. This house was great! For the first time (and this is our first time using Seaside) we had absolutely no issues with our rental. The house and grounds were immaculate. The pool was clean and well kept. The grass was beautifully mowed (even came once during the week to spruce it up). The beds were all very comfortable. The location was awesome. Having the linens on the beds when we arrived made the "first night on vacation" more like a vacation. Having the beach within close walking distance was great and yet far enough away that I didn't have to worry that the girls trying to go there by themselves. Seaside...you guys are great !! If our schedule works out, we will be back to this house in the coming year. We had grandchildren (3/5/6), great Grandma, our sons and their wives, friends of our children and ours...everyone was in agreement...This is the first time we will be re-renting a house.Thanks Seaside for a great time."

"The house surpassed our expectations. We had plenty of room for our family of 18. The house is spacious and very nicely appointed. We cooked most meals for the large group in the large kitchen. There were plenty of pots and pans and utensils, 6 burner stove and double oven. We spent many evenings up on the roof deck for a beautiful sunsets. The kids loved the movie theater room and pool table. We liked being just a few steps from the boardwalk to the beach.The farmdog surfing instructors through Seaside came right to our house to give us surfing lessons. They were great instructors. "This place was great. It was walking distance to the beach, and big enough so that the 16 of us staying there had a great time. The pool was a big hit, as the ocean was still a little too cold for May. The house was well set up, every couple that went had their own bathroom, and there was an extra bath on the bottom and top floors. The pool table also went over really well with the group. I especially loved the two dining tables in the living room. It meant we could all eat together with no problem. The house also has keyless entry, which is a nice touch when traveling with a big group. I have used other rental agencies in the past, hoping to save money. I will never do that again. Seaside vacations has the best, most accomodating staff, and the nicest houses. You may pay less elsewhere, but you get what you pay for. Perfect bargain for my money".

"First to summarize our experience with Seaside Vacations. We have found they are willing to go above an beyond to satifsy their customers. We were [with another rental company] for 3 years until we felt as if they saw us as just another booking and could not care less about our needs or concerns. There are many places in the OBX that we could spend our $$ vacationing, Seaside is #1 for us.
We enjoyed Sisterly Love, a great beachfront home. Our family consists of three generations. The fact that each room has a bathroom with shower is a wonderful feature. The kitchen, eating area and living room are a 'Great Room' for the family to gather and share time together during the day and evening. The game room is OK for late night pool tournaments too.
The pool is well above average for the OBX, not just a preformed mini-pool, this one provides plenty of room to play in the pool and enjoy an afternoon beverage. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and glasses."

"Our stay at Isabel's Hacienda was one of the best vacations we can remember. The rental home was everything we could possibly hope for, and more. We look forward to many more years of going back to this destination and this particular house. Everyone's needs were accounted for. "This is lovely home, seven women (sisters & cousins) all retired enjoy the location. It has 5 bedrooms with queen/king beds and each has a bathroom, the lower has bunk beds w/two bedrooms and 1 bath in between the rooms. The elevator is sooo great! It really comes in handy when taking your luggage in and out. The house is well furnished w/kitchen utensils. It makes a vacation, a vacation to remember. We get the pool heated so we can enjoy our stay a little better."

"Our group thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at Schmoo by the Sea. The house is beautiful and well kept with lots of amenities. The house is set back off the cul-de-sac a little bit, so your pool area is private, which was a definite plus. You can walk right by many of the other houses outside areas and see what everyone is doing. Everything advertised in the brochure was there (tvs, dvds, vcrs, gas grill, computer, etc.). There was an ice machine, small fridge, sink and counter area down by the room next to the pool. This was great since the kitchen is all the way up on the third floor.It was our first time to OBX and we would go back."

"This was a wonderful house! The pool was the perfect temperature, the grill worked great, the ice maker and mini fridge just steps from the pool came in handy every day!!! The beach was not crowded at all. The house had enough TVs and living areas for our family of 13 and dog to move around and do as we pleased without getting in each others' way. Great property."

Check in with keyless entry was easy and awesome! Cleanliness was perfect. I didn't fine one single hair in any bathroom...that is almost a miracle!!! Great house with pool and Jacuzzi, close to beach. We noticed the fridge was leaking and within 24 hours we had had 2 visits, a phone call, and it fixed (and offered to reimburse for ice). The decorations were great! My whole family was very impressed with this vacation!

I wanted to let you know that we ABSOLUTELY LOVED the house we rented. Duneside is a PERFECT beach cottage with an excellent layout of the rooms, plus the location could not have been better!! We were thrilled to have the Harris Teeter and Duck Doughnuts right across the street. I can't thank you enough for all your help in making this a great vacation for all of us.
