Art, Automata and Christmas Clocks by Michael Davis

He has performed at well over 100 colleges and is a favorite headliner at comedy clubs across the country. In New York City, Andy appears regularly at the world famous Comedy Cellar. Internationally, Andy has performed at clubs and festivals throughout Canada, England, Holland and Ireland, as well as throughout the Middle East to entertain the troops. He's had multiple appearances on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom radio and TV show and his CD, It's Ready, airs regularly on SiriusXM Radio.

Hangin’ With Santa

Island Foodways

10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Looking for something to do with the family after Thanksgiving? Come to Island Farm as we interpret fall food traditions and share how Roanoke Island families prepared for winter during the 1850s. Some activities will include: hearth cooking, food preservation, ox-drawn wagon rides from 10am-noon, corn shucking and shelling in the afternoon. Bring a nonperishable food item and receive $1 off admission to the farm. Goods will be donated to the Roanoke Island Food Pantry. Kites with Lights

Jockey's Ridge State Park (mp 12.5), Nags Head. Watch the night sky magically transform as kites with lights glow in the sky atop Jockey’s Ridge State Park. Join us for hot apple cider and cookies beginning 4pm across the street at the Kitty Hawk Kites store. Kites go up around 3pm and will be in the sky until 6pm.
