Security Deposits
All rental homes require a security deposit to cover the cost of damages, missing items or other problems that may occur during your stay. As an alternative, Seaside Vacations offers an optional security deposit waiver fee, in lieu of a security deposit.
Security Deposit Waiver Fee $55 + tax
This non-refundable, optional fee covers up to $2,500 in unintentional damages, provided the damage is reported to our office in a timely manner. Some examples of covered damages include: a lamp that is accidentally knocked over and broken or a beverage spilled on a carpet. The guest would be covered if he/she had selected the Security Deposit Waiver Fee and reported the damages immediately.
Gross negligence and intentional acts, theft and damages caused by pet (regardless if a pet fee was collected) are not covered by the Security Deposit Waiver Fee.
Vacation Insurance charges are automatically added to your first rental payment.
If you do not wish to purchase this coverage, you may decline the charge by initialing where indicated on your lease. Seaside Vacations offers Travel Guard, which covers loss of job, medical emergencies, military deployments and more. This is private insurance, a service we make available to our guests. Pet Fee $125 + tax
Your canine companion is welcome in most of our homes. Our pet fee is $125 plus tax. Home must be designated dog-friendly. One dog (75 pound limit) per home permitted. Cats and any other animals not permitted.
