Seaside Vacations is encouraging all Outer Banks visitors to show off your creativity and your love of an Outer Banks vacation as part of the Seaside Vacations T-Shirt Design Contest. Love catching sunrises on the beach? Is building sandcastles your thing? Or maybe visiting the wonderful local Outer Banks attractions is why you love the Outer Banks. Whatever represents an Outer Banks vacation to you, let your creativity shine!

If you are interested in submitting artwork for the Seaside Vacations Summer 2012 T-Shirt Design Contest, please follow the steps below...
How It Works
- First, create your T-Shirt design. (Designs can be created using computer programs such as Photoshop or InDesign or via traditional methods such as painting, drawing, coloring, sketching, etc.)
- Mail submission to:

Attn: T-Shirt Design Contest.
- An internal team at Seaside Vacations will select the top 5 designs.
- These designs will be posted online at www.OuterBanksVacations.com and on our Facebook Page for public voting. You determine the winner!
- The winning design will be printed on 100% cotton T-Shirts, as the official Seaside Vacations Summer 2012 T-Shirt!

Design Criteria
- We’re looking for a unique, creative design that embodies the essence of an Outer Banks vacation.
- Your design must be wholly original. By submitting a design you are guaranteeing that you hold rights to everything in it, and that it does not contain any copyright material. Copyrighted material includes items found on the internet.
- What to enter:
- Paint, color or draw your artwork on paper, and mail it.
- Create electronic artwork in jpg or PDF format. (Electronic artwork can either be a scanned copy of hand-drawn art, or art that was created with software like Photoshop or InDesign.)
- Electronic artwork must be saved at a high-resolution (minimum of 1800 x 1200 pixels in size) and in jpeg or PDF format. Electronic artwork must be submitted on a CD disk or a flash drive.
Submission & Judging Criteria
- Only one submission per person.
- Your design will be printed on the back of the T-Shirt and fitted within a max area of 10” x 10.”
- Save your artwork as a jpg or PDF and email it to adam@seasiderealty.com with the subject line: T-Shirt Design Contest.
- Mail hard copy artwork to Seaside Vacations, Marketing Department, P.O. Box 3339, Kitty Hawk, NC 27949. Attn: T-Shirt Design Contest.
- Don't forget, the submission deadline is Friday, September 30th, 2011 at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST).
- When you submit your T-shirt design, don’t forget to include your artwork and the designer’s name, mailing address, phone number and email address.
- Designs are evaluated using the following factors:
- Concept / Originality
- Captures the spirit of the Outer Banks
- Visibility – eye-catching and visible from a reasonable distance
- Judging:
- The top 5 designs will be posted online at www.OuterBanksVacations.com for voting.
- Voting is worldwide and open to everyone. You choose the winner!
Your Reward
- Grand Prize Winner:
- Recognition for designing the official Seaside Vacations Summer 2012 T-Shirt.
- A free official Seaside Vacations Summer 2012 T-Shirt.t to show off your winning design!
- A 4-Day/3-Night stay in one of our fabulous Outer Banks vacation homes!

Etcetera
The front of the T-Shirt will contain the Seaside Vacations logo. You're certainly welcome to use the Seaside Vacations logo in your art but it's by no means mandatory. Our top priority is to find a great shirt design that in some way represents the wonderful vacations found on the Outer Banks. Be creative and have fun!
