Kill Devil Hills Paws Park - Grand Opening!
by Jessie S.
Do you love to bring your dog with you when you vacation on the Outer Banks? We can't blame you! The Outer Banks is a very dog-friendly beach and Seaside Vacations offers plenty of pet-friendly rental homes making it easier than ever for your dog to tag along. From nature trails to scenic beaches, there are plenty of places for your canine best friend to explore but if you're ready for a place made just for him, visit Paws Park in Kill Devil Hills! The park is open to the public and free to use!
This new dog park/pet playground is located at 103 Veterans Drive in Kill Devil Hills (located at Aviation Park). For the humans, the park is located conveniently near the parking lot and restrooms. The dog park is partitioned into three separate sections for small dogs, older dogs, and an open section for all dogs. Each section offers dogs plenty of space for running and playing as well as a playground facility including stairs, ramps, jumping hoops, and weaving sticks. Picnic tables, benches, and pergolas are also included.
Dogs must have a collar displaying current rabies vaccination information. For a list of official dog park rules, check out the Town of Kill Devil Hills Dog Park Rules Flyer and for more information about Paws Park, visit the Town of Kill Devil Hills.

Jessie has been coming to the Outer Banks since she was just 5 years old. She loved it here so much that she finally relocated in 2018. Now her mission is to show the world that the Outer Banks is an incredible place that everyone should experience. When she isn't working, you can find Jessie hanging out with her friends, chilling at home with her awesome cat, Yoji, or discovering a new Outer Banks adventure.
