Plan your next Outer Banks vacation to the remarkable La Mer! This cottage sits on a beautifully manicured lot right off quiet cul-de-sac in the quaint town of Southern Shores. When you’re ready to get your toes in the water, the nearest beach access is just a 2-minute walk away via a pedestrian crosswalk on NC-12.


The home itself has a large driveway with plenty of parking space. Outside, you’ll find 2 outdoor showers for washing the sand off your toes. You’ll love the fenced-in pool deck area where you can easily lounge around with your favorite book or go for an energizing swim! When you get hungry, throw a few burgers on the outdoor gas grill. Inside, play a round of billiards at the Pool Table in the Game Room with Cable TV/DVD Player and Wet Bar. A comfortable Queen Bedroom is located on this level and has access to a full bathroom in the hall.


The main entry is on the middle level where you’ll find three of the home’s bedrooms. The Master Queen Room enjoys deck access, Cable TV and an attached full-size bathroom with a shower. Down the hall, another Queen bedroom with Cable TV and deck access shares a Jack-and-Jill style bathroom with the third bedroom which features 2 Twin Beds and Roku TV/DVD player. The laundry room and a covered deck complete the layout.


The top level is spacious, airy, and well-appointed with cozy furniture and tranquil décor. Gather in the living area to enjoy your favorite movie on the flat-screen TV sitting atop a decorative fireplace or step out to a full sun deck where you’ll love soaking in the ocean breeze from your Adirondack. The large kitchen has plenty of prep space and is fully equipped with everything you’ll need to prepare a delicious seafood dinner. There is seating available at the kitchen island bar and for a formal dinner, an extravagant wood dining table has seating for ten. Located nearby is a convenient half bath. Get a good night’s sleep in the Master King Bedroom with Cable TV/DVD and an attached full bath featuring a dual vanity, jetted Jacuzzi tub, and a separate shower.

Despite its secluded location, you’ll never be far from great shops, delicious restaurants, and national landmarks when you stay in La Mer! Just down the road, Steamers Restaurant and Coastal Provisions Oyster and Wine Bar Café are both great locations to visit when you’re craving a chef-prepared meal made with the locally sourced catch of the day. For a quick lunch, stop by Southern Shores Pizza—or they will deliver to your home for free! When you need to stock up on supplies for the week, Wal-Mart, Food Lion and Walgreens are all within easy driving distance. Looking for something fun to do on a rainy day? Challenge your family to escape a pirate-themed adventure at OB-XScape Rooms or work on your golf game at Turf’s Up Indoor Sports Arena in Kitty Hawk. Take a day trip up to northern Corolla where you can take a safari-style tour of the 4x4 beach area to look for wild horses or climb to the top of the Currituck Beach Lighthouse.
