Just one mile wide by four miles long, the town of Southern Shores is located between Kitty Hawk and Duck. Southern Shores is the first town visitors pass by after crossing the Wright Memorial Bridge and is a premier residential community. Popular dining spots and a multi-use walking and cycling path (runs parallel to Highway 12) make it a favorite of Outer Banks residents.
