Lauren Crawford is the Director of Marketing Operations for Seaside Vacations. A proud Outer Banks local, Lauren calls Kitty Hawk home — which means she gets to live the OBX life she writes about every day. With a deep knowledge of the barrier islands, from the wild shores of Corolla to the laid-back charm of Hatteras Village, she brings an insider's perspective to everything she creates for the Seaside blog.

A writer at heart, Lauren has built a career around storytelling in all its forms. She holds a background in education and currently teaches U.S. History as an adjunct instructor, bringing the same curiosity and love of a good narrative to the classroom that she brings to her writing. When she's not crafting content or coordinating campaigns, you'll find her deep in a thriller novel, working on her own fiction, or exploring the local spots that make the Outer Banks one of the most unique places on the East Coast.
