OBX Pride Week Events
OBX Pridefest is our flagship fundraiser and includes a week of various events throughout the Outer Banks, produced by OBX Pride, Inc., a 501(c)3 local non-profit organization. Established in 2011, OBX Pride, Inc. our mission is to eliminate prejudices and discrimination toward the LBGTQ+ community, to encourage businesses to be LBGTQ-friendly, and to increase tourism to the OBX while honoring the diverse community. Pridefest week is all-inclusive and we welcome everyone.
The 15th Annual OBX Pride Week Kicks Off May 29th, 2026 and runs until May 31st, 2026. Secure your stay for a week full of events!
Saturday, May 30th, is our FREE and family-friendly Pride Festival. All ages are welcome!

Set sail into the sunset aboard the Crystal Dawn for a breathtaking evening on the water! The Out at Sea OBX Pride Sunset Cruise takes you on a scenic journey around Roanoke Island, where you can soak in stunning views, enjoy the salty breeze, and celebrate Pride with fellow festival goers. $50

This FREE, family-friendly, LGBTQ+ Pride festival is our main event on Saturday, May 30th at Roanoke Island Festival Park. Enjoy an afternoon of live bands, food vendors, craft vendors, face painting, games, entertainers, and more!
