Kitty Hawk Kites is teaming up with Dare Arts Council to create the Outer Banks ‘Sweep the Beach’ Trash Art Contest! In conjunction with Earth Day, we ask artists to create work from the trash they have collected from our beaches and sounds.
On Saturday, come down to Ocracoke and participate in the annual Scallywag 5K/10K at 8AM! Not only is this a great way to get some exercise while you're on vacation, but you will be able to see Ocracoke's historic neighborhoods, harbor, and lighthouse - the 2nd largest in the United States! The course will be flat, perfect for all skill levels!
