Winter Lights

WinterLights Hours of Operation:
The Gardens will not be open during the day for the entire run of WinterLights.  Daytime general admission tickets end on November 20th, 2026.

In December, the Gardens will only open for WinterLights from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

A weather-dependent event.

Adults: $22; Youth (ages 2 to 17): $14; Child (under 2): FREE; Dog: $6.

Timed-entry tickets sold online only.

A holiday tradition not to be missed! Stroll along illuminated garden walks and discover the joy of the season with holiday lights that transform the ten-acre gardens into an enchanted wonderland. The radiant glow, holiday décor, and a crackling open-air fire to add to the festive atmosphere. Seasonal plants and holiday gifts will be available in the Gift Shop and Nursery. Check the schedule for designated nights of live entertainment.

TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE UNLESS THE EVENT IS CANCELLED BY THE ELIZABETHAN GARDENS. If inclement weather or other conditions prevent the lights from occurring, a notice will be sent out to all anticipated guests by 2 pm.

Employers

Parking
Guests must park in designated spaces. Overflow parking will be available at the Fort Raleigh National Historic Site parking lot. A shuttle will transport guests from/to this lot on select Friday and Saturday nights.
