Dare County, in partnership with the National Park Service, invites visitors and locals to experience a once-in-a-lifetime celebration: the Dare A250 Life, Liberty & Liftoff Faire. Held at the iconic Wright Brothers National Memorial, this full-day patriotic festival commemorates America’s 250th anniversary and the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
With the theme “Liberty, Legacy, and Liftoff in the Land of Beginnings,” the Faire honors Dare County’s history, innovation, and community spirit while highlighting the Outer Banks’ rich cultural and historical significance.
