RESTAURANTS ON THE OUTER BANKS - OPEN YEAR ROUND

If you're an Outer Banks local or previous visitor to the area, then you've probably experienced a letdown or two when trying to eat out during the off-season.

The off-season is the time between Labor Day and Memorial Day and because it's less busy compared to the peak, mid-summer months, many local shops and restaurants close their doors during this time. Some local restaurants in the Outer Banks close up shop for a few months with little to no notice at all!

To help out a fellow local or any visitor who spends a few days, weeks, or months here during the off-season, we've assembled a long list of fantastic local restaurants in the OBX with info on their off-season hours.

We didn't include every restaurant in the OBX, but we did include places we'd recommend trying whether you are a first-time visitor or a life-long local. Feel free to share this with anyone you know who lives on the beach or is planning a visit during the off-season.
