“Jingle in July” Donation Drive Collecting Blankets and Socks for Local Seniors
Kitty Hawk, Avon, NC — July 10 — While summer temperatures soar, one local organization is thinking ahead to colder days—and warmer hearts. Seaside Vacations is proud to announce the launch of its “Jingle in July: Bundle Up for Seniors” drive, a month-long initiative to collect new blankets and non-slip grip socks for senior citizens in local care facilities.
Donations will be collected throughout the month of July and delivered in December as part of Seaside Vacations’ annual holiday outreach efforts. The goal is to collect at least 50 blankets and 50 pairs of socks to help bring comfort and joy to seniors at Peak Resources and Spring Arbor during the coldest time of the year.
“It may be blazing hot outside right now, but we’re preparing for a season when warmth and connection are most needed,” said Lacey House, Director of Marketing of Seaside Vacations. “These simple items—blankets and cozy socks—mean so much to seniors who may be facing the holidays alone or in need.”

New, throw-size blankets
New, adult-size non-slip (grip) socks

Monday to Sunday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Donations will be accepted through July 31.
Local residents, businesses, and community groups are encouraged to participate. Whether it's one pair of socks or ten blankets, every donation helps bring holiday cheer to someone who could use a little extra warmth this season.
