Did you ever get a chance to visit the Nags Head Casino?

Reaching it's height in popularity during the 1960s, the Nags Head Casino was a two-story building located on beach road (NC 12) in Nags Head, North Carolina.

The bottom floor was a family arcade with duckpin bowling, pinball machines, and a variety of other arcade games. The building's second floor was a dedicated dance hall equipped with slick floors that were perfect for getting your groove on.

The Casino's ballroom was also a popular spot where legendary musicians would play their hits on the Outer Banks. Some of these famous artists include: Louis Armstrong, Count Basie, Duck Ellington and Artie Shaw to name a few.

Unfortunately after 40 years of fun, the Nags Head Casino was victim to mother nature and collapsed in 1976 after a big storm.
