Restaurants Open on the Outer Banks on Valentine's Day

And although many estaurants on the Outer Banks are closed until March, there are quite a few spots that are re-opening their doors for this special holiday. Be sure to call ahead and make reservations because you definitely don't want to miss out on what's sure to be a great holiday. AQUA Restaurant

If you're looking for an idyllic spot to spend Valentine's Day with romantic dining, a peaceful atmosphere, and a specialty menu that's sure to provide an elevated dining experience, look no further than AQUA Restaurant in Duck. Their dinner specialties promise a little something for everyone, from a Gluten-Free & Vegan Roasted Acorn Squash Bowl to their Permesan and Pistachio Crusted Scottish Salmon. The Blue Point

Established in 1989 by John Power and Sam McGann, the restaurant is located at the Waterfront Shops in Duck and overlooks the Currituck Sound. This beautiful, upscale restaurant is promises an elegant evening with locally-sourced Southern fare.

Dinner entrees are about $30 a plate and include delicious menu items like red wine braised beef short ribs to crispy cornmeal fried Carolina catfish.

Village Table & Taven

Village Table & Tavern is a great place to come celebrate all sorts of love with their beautiful soundfront dining room and delicious menu. Choose from a delicious selection of starters, locally-inspired entrees, and unique cocktails with a North Carolina twist.

Trio

If you're looking for a fantastic place to spend Valentine's Day where you can enjoy a scrumptious menu, different types of wine, and a romantic atmosphere, Trio is the place to be. Their dinner plates are around $25 and you can choose from the Crab Pot Pie, traditional Carolina Shrimp & Grits, or a selection of fresh local seafood. Dessert offerings change daily but are guaranteed to be amazing, so come hungry!

Ocean Boulevard

Boasting a seasonal menu that features lush local ingredients, Ocean Boulevard is an American Bistro that's a terrific place to unwind a long day at the beach. Enjoy a fine wine out on the patio and savor one of their scrumptious menu items. Their Valentine's Day menu is sure to impress, so be sure to make a reservation soon as Ocean Boulevard fills up fast.

Kill Devil Grill

Their severs are friendly, their food is delicious, and their classic diner style interior is refreshing compared to the sea of beach themed restaurants on the Outer Banks. Kill Devil Grill is the perfect place to come for a low-key night out that is sure to be both romantic and memorable. Dinner plates are delicious and be sure to grab one of their delicious pies or some warm apple crip before leaving.

The Black Pelican

One of the few restaurants on the Outer Banks with panoramic ocean views from the dining room, The Black Pelican is the perfect spot to bring your date on Valentine's Day.

Dinner entrees are in the $20-$30 range and you can have a 3-course meal for two including drinks for less than $100.

JKs Restaurant

Relax at a quite table for two and enjoy a fine dining experience at JKs Restaurant on the Outer Banks. They're known for their live wood fire grill and their juicy steaks cooked to perfection; never overdone.

Blue Moon Beach Grill

One of the best sit down restaurants on the Outer Banks, it seems almost impossible to have a bad dining experience at Blue Moon Beach Grill. They serve amazing southern comfort food that's prepared with a creative kick that sets it apart. They opened their doors back in 2009 and haven't stopped growing in popularity.

Cafe Pamlico is celebrating Valentine's Day all weekend leading up to Tuesday, Februrary 14th, with a specialty menu available Friday, February 10th, and Saturday, Feburary 11th, as well.
