Fly Into Spring Kite Festival - March 29-30, 2024

Come celebrate National Kite Month and the start of Spring at the Fly Into Spring Kite Festival Hosted by Kitty Hawk Kites and Sponored by Seaside Vacations! Experience the sights of our massive 30-to-100-foot kites flying high over Jockey’s Ridge State Park. Across the street from the dunes outside Kitty Hawk Kites, take your picture with the Easter Bunny, and let your kids join in the fun during our annual Jockey’s Ridge Crossing Easter Egg Hunt! This two-day event is free and open to the public.

OBX Taste of the Beach - April 12-14, 2024

Come enjoy the best and brightest of Outer Banks dining experiences with The Outer Banks Resaurant Association and the Outer Banks Hospitality Partner's OBX Taste of the Beach. Sample the best cuisine on the Outer Banks and taste a variety of special places from some of the best resaurants on the beach during this exciting food-focused weekend. Popular local favorites such as The Black Pelican, Chili Peppers, and Outer Banks Brewing Station will be offering delicious treats that you won't be able to get anywhere else. 6th Annual Lost Colony Wine, Beer & Culinary Festival - The Grand Tasting - April 13, 2024

Don't miss out on such an extravagant experience! Enjoy a night of delicious food and music while tasting both old world and new world wines from all over! For beer lovers, this event will include the Beer Garden that features local breweries, with some beers being exclusively found in the Outer Banks! As you enjoy the food and music, be sure to take a look at the amazing sights of Jockey's Ridge sand dunes and the Wright Brothers Memorial. As the evening goes on, there will be a silent auction for you to bid on beautiful items. All proceeds benefit The Lost Colony production. Please note: You must be 21 years old to attend this event.

Push Yourself to the Limit - Multiple Events

Spring is an amazing time to get outdoors and push yourself to the limit with some exercise and exploring. It's also a great time of year for relay races and running events.
