There are plenty of fun activities to do in the Outer Banks during the off-season but during the holidays, there are even more options! So where should you spend your last night of 2018? Whether you are looking for family-friendly events or are planning to go out without the kids, here are 15 awesome New Year’s Eve activities to check out on December 31st from Currituck to Ocracoke.
1) Jam out to Vintage Pistol at the NYE Throwdown at Sundogs Raw Bar & Grill!
Presented by Bearded Face Productions and Sundogs Raw Bar & Grill, prepare for an evening of awesome new age blues rock to carry in the New Year! Founded in Arkansas, Vintage Pistol is working on an album while touring across the U.S. and has opened for bands such as the U.N, Big Something and Ben Miller Band. 2) Enjoy an evening of dining, drinks and music at the Village Table & Tavern!
This year, Village Table & Tavern in Duck will be offering a special three-course meal with two seating times - one at 5:30 p.m. and one at 8:30 p.m. Enjoy your choice of an appetizer, entree, and dessert with a glass of champagne to celebrate the day! And don’t forget, the town of Manteo is always decorated and covered in lights for the holidays! If you get hungry, swing by Poor Richard’s Sandwich Shop, Ortega’z, 1587 Tranquil House Inn or the Lost Colony Brewery Cafe which will all remain open late for dinner.
